We started this photo shoot at an old unused railroad switchback. Well, as soon as a train came rumbling by on the main line, Little {S} was no longer impressed with where we were standing. We headed off to another location and got some great shots of him. He was such a trooper in the cold, way to go little man! Thank you Annie for letting me take your family portraits!

I had so much fun with this shoot. I LOVE making things so putting together these backdrops was making me a little giddy. Little Miss {A} was so stinking cute too. She is just crawling and sitting, I love this age! Merry Christmas sweet girl!

Weather this time of year can be dicey for outdoor photography. We got luck this evening that it was warm enough for baby and there was no rain! We had such a great time and lots of smiles from Miss {A}!

The {T} Family: Mountain Home Family Photography

I photographed these boys last year and the were more interested in the sticks and dirt than they were in my camera. Fast forward a year and it is nice to see not much has changed! Thanks for climbing around on rocks and sword fighting with me boys!

The {D} Children: Mountain Home Child Photographer

These sweet kids are home schooled so they don't get the biannual standard school shot. I took them too a fun little lane near my home and we got their "school" pictures done for them. They were pretty happy to sit and pose for the camera. I'm pretty sure I didn't ever have school pictures with real trees in the background. In fact I distinctly remember leaning on some sort of plastic log as a kindergartener, hah!

The {B} Family: Mountain Home Family Photographer

I LOVE this family!! They know how to enjoy running around in the dirt and climbing trees and fences. We have so much fun together and the kiddos are naturally happy which makes my job so easy. Thanks for clomping around in the weeds with me {B} Family!

The {S} Family: Furry Friends

This was a first for me, pet photography. It was a lot like following toddlers around, except these guys moved much faster...and I had to get lower on the ground. There was a lot of rolling and scampering around and that was just me! I really enjoyed this shoot, especially the cute Yorkie, {M}. Her little floppy ears were to die for!

My youngest was...um, 9 months old in our last family photo, so I've been a little jealous of all my clients getting their family pictures done. I buckled down and wrangled my crew together and grabbed a friend to shoot the family portrait part of our shoot for me. I was dreading trying to do my own kids' picture, but they did great, and my friend got a good shot of our family with EVERYONE looking at the camera, WOOHOOO!

The {M} Family: Mountain Home Idaho Family Photographer

I had the privilege of shooting this family so Dr. M could have a family portrait in his new dental office. The kids are some of the cutest around, but I'm a little biased since they are my niece and nephews. I love how patient Mom and Dad are with their little ones, they are so great!
